Community Guidelines

1. Purpose and Scope

These Community Guidelines explain the conduct and content standards proposed for Velvet Room. They are intended to apply across public and private platform surfaces that are subject to the Terms of Service, including Profile Preview, Channels, Feed, posts and media, comments, messaging and requests, AMA, Radar/proximity interactions, sessions, invitations, gated/private access, and creator/business activity.

These Guidelines do not create a promise that every violation will be detected, prevented, or acted on immediately. Safety and moderation capabilities must match the live platform and the separate Safety, Enforcement & Appeals Policy before publication.

2. Adults Only - 18+ Eligibility

Velvet Room is an 18+ platform. A person under 18 may not create, maintain, or use an account, and an adult may not use an account to facilitate a minor's access in a way that bypasses this rule.

• Misrepresenting age or helping another person evade the 18+ requirement is prohibited.
• Sexual, exploitative, grooming, trafficking, or abusive content or conduct involving a minor is prohibited without exception.
• A user who is reasonably determined to be under 18 may be restricted, suspended, or terminated under the enforcement policy and applicable law.

3. Respect, Harassment, Threats, and Coercion

Velvet Room is built around interaction by choice. Users may disagree, reject requests, end connections, and set boundaries. Do not use the Service to intimidate or force continued interaction.

• No targeted harassment, bullying, threats, blackmail, extortion, or coercion.
• No repeated unwanted contact after a person has clearly withdrawn consent, declined a request, blocked/restricted contact, or otherwise communicated that the interaction should stop.
• No encouragement, coordination, or celebration of credible violence against a person or group.
• No retaliation against a person for reporting conduct, enforcing a boundary, or declining a connection, session, payment, or private-access request.

4. Stalking, Doxxing, and Privacy Abuse

Do not use Velvet Room to stalk, locate, expose, monitor, or endanger another person without authorization. Contextual persona separation is a privacy design principle and must not be weaponized against users.

• Do not publish or threaten to publish private identifying information, home addresses, precise location, private contact information, credentials, or other sensitive information to harass, intimidate, or expose someone.
• Do not intentionally correlate or expose another user's Social, Friends, and Work personas in order to defeat their contextual privacy choices.
• Do not share private Room links, access grants, invite tokens, gated media, or restricted content beyond the permission you actually received.
• Do not impersonate another person or falsely represent that you are authorized to speak for a person, business, creator, or organization.

5. Radar, Location, and Proximity Safety

Radar and related location/proximity features involve sensitive information. They may not be used as tools for surveillance, stalking, coercion, intimidation, or unauthorized tracking.

• Do not obtain, request, infer, publish, or redistribute another person's precise or live location except as authorized by the feature and the person's choices.
• Do not use proximity information to follow, confront, ambush, pressure, or repeatedly approach another person against their wishes.
• Do not submit false location/safety information, manipulate presence or proximity state, or attempt to bypass authorization controls.
• Location features are not emergency services and must not be represented by users as guaranteed, perfectly accurate, or emergency-grade.

6. Sexual Safety, Consent, and Exploitation

Consent must be present for sexual or intimate interactions. Velvet Room permits consensual adult nudity or sexually explicit content only in intentionally private or gated adult surfaces that are access-controlled for that purpose. Public discovery surfaces are not adult-content surfaces.

• Consensual adult nudity or sexually explicit content is prohibited on public Feed, Profile Preview, Radar/discovery, public-facing Channel areas, avatars, covers, public thumbnails/previews, search/recommendation surfaces, and comparable general-discovery areas.
• Consensual adult explicit content may be permitted only inside a private/gated surface specifically designed and authorized for that content, and only where all participants and depicted persons are adults and the content is otherwise lawful and consensual.
• Non-explicit adult expression may be evaluated under the ordinary content rules; the private/gated requirement applies to nudity and sexually explicit material.
• No non-consensual intimate images, recordings, sexualized deepfakes, voyeuristic material, or threats to publish intimate material.
• No sexual coercion, threats, extortion, grooming, trafficking, exploitation, or facilitation of non-consensual sexual activity.
• No content that sexualizes, exploits, depicts, or solicits a person under 18.
• No attempts to use private access, payment, gifts, sessions, or value-bearing features to compel sexual conduct or override consent.

7. Fraud, Scams, Impersonation, and Deceptive Conduct

• Do not scam, defraud, phish, manipulate, or deceive users into sending money, digital value, credentials, private access, or personal information.
• Do not misrepresent identity, business status, creator status, professional credentials, affiliation, pricing, deliverables, or the purpose of a transaction.
• Do not use fake engagement, coordinated manipulation, botting, fraudulent referrals, fabricated safety reports, or other deceptive activity to influence distribution, trust, access, or value.
• Do not distribute malware, malicious links, credential-harvesting pages, or technical payloads intended to compromise users or the Service.

8. Violence, Exploitation, and Unlawful Conduct

Do not use Velvet Room to plan, solicit, facilitate, or materially support unlawful violence, exploitation, trafficking, or other serious illegal conduct. Content that documents or discusses harmful events may be evaluated in context; context does not excuse direct facilitation of harm.

• No credible threats of violence or instructions targeted at harming a specific person.
• No trafficking, forced labor, sexual exploitation, or facilitation of abuse.
• No use of the platform to sell or facilitate illegal goods, stolen property, fraudulent services, or other transactions prohibited by applicable law.
• No coordination intended to evade lawful safety controls or assist another user in serious illegal conduct.

9. Spam, Manipulation, and Platform Abuse

• Do not spam users with repetitive, unwanted, or deceptive messages, requests, comments, invitations, or promotional content.
• Do not create or control accounts, personas, devices, or automation primarily to evade enforcement, fabricate engagement, or manipulate eligibility/distribution.
• Do not probe, scrape, enumerate, or exploit private persona relationships, access controls, tokens, authentication systems, or gated resources without authorization.
• Do not attempt to bypass payment, unlock, subscription, access, moderation, rate-limit, or security controls.

10. User Content, Intellectual Property, Screen Capture, and Unauthorized Sharing

• Screenshots are prohibited on Velvet Room. Do not take, attempt to take, distribute, request, or facilitate screenshots of Velvet Room content, profiles, Channels, messages, AMA interactions, sessions, Radar surfaces, private/gated media, or other platform interactions.
• Screen recording, mirroring, external capture, photographing a display, or similar methods used to evade the no-screenshot rule or capture-protection controls are treated as equivalent circumvention.
• Do not upload, repost, forward, sell, publish, or otherwise distribute a screenshot or prohibited capture made from Velvet Room, even if you did not create the capture yourself.
• Platform-provided save, share, download, or export tools are not screenshots and may be used only within the permission and audience rules attached to those tools.
• Technical capture protections are privacy safeguards, not guarantees. The inability of Velvet Room to detect or prevent a particular capture method does not authorize the capture.
• Only upload or share content you have the right and lawful basis to use.
• Do not knowingly infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.
• Do not remove or defeat access restrictions and then redistribute private, gated, or paid content without authorization.
• Do not falsely report ownership or misuse copyright/safety procedures to silence lawful content or harass another user.

11. Private Rooms, Gated Content, and Access Grants

Private or gated does not mean exempt from these Guidelines. Access is permission to the exact resource or interaction granted - not permission to exploit the recipient, expose sibling personas, or redistribute protected material.

• Honor the scope and expiry of invitations, access grants, paid unlocks, and private links.
• Do not sell, transfer, publish, or reuse another person's private access token or access path without authorization.
• Do not use a private area to coordinate harassment, fraud, exploitation, trafficking, threats, or other prohibited conduct.

12. Messages, AMA, Sessions, and Connection Requests

• Requests, messages, AMA interactions, and sessions must respect the recipient's stated choices and access rules.
• Do not use payment, pricing, gifts, Winq/WinQ, or session requests to pressure a person into interaction they have declined.
• Do not screenshot, screen-record, externally capture, publish, or redistribute private communications or sessions. The no-screenshot rule applies even where local law might otherwise permit recording; use of the Service remains subject to these Guidelines except where a non-waivable legal right applies.
• Do not abuse friend/connection requests, acquaintance tiers, or access questions to circumvent a user's boundaries.

13. Creator, Business, Promotion, and Value-Bearing Conduct

Creators, businesses, professionals, and users offering paid or value-bearing interactions must be truthful about what they offer and comply with applicable law and any supplemental terms.

• No false earnings, investment-return, guaranteed-distribution, guaranteed-audience, or guaranteed-outcome claims.
• No deceptive pricing, hidden material terms, fabricated endorsements, or misleading promotional representations.
• Do not use GGIRL, WinQ, Winq, USD, subscriptions, paid sessions, unlocks, or gifts to facilitate fraud, coercion, illegal transactions, or policy evasion.

14. Reporting and Good-Faith Use of Safety Tools

Where reporting or safety tools are available, use them in good faith. Reports should describe conduct or content the reporter reasonably believes may violate policy or law.

• Do not knowingly submit false, fabricated, retaliatory, or mass-coordinated reports to punish another user or distort enforcement.
• Do not threaten a person with reporting solely to coerce payment, access, content, or continued interaction.
• Do not attempt to destroy, alter, or fabricate evidence in an active safety or moderation matter.

Implementation note: the Legal/Policy Authority Audit did not establish a complete canonical user-reporting/appeals workflow for core Velvet Room. Publication must wait until real user-facing paths are verified.

15. Enforcement

Violations may result in content action, feature restrictions, loss of access, temporary suspension, persona or Channel restrictions, account termination, or other proportionate measures described in the Safety, Enforcement & Appeals Policy. Serious or repeated violations may justify stronger action, including account-wide action across personas. Screenshot/capture violations are enforceable policy violations; repeated or evasive capture conduct may justify escalating restrictions or suspension.

Persona separation is not an enforcement shield. Because Social, Friends, and Work personas belong to one underlying account, serious safety or integrity violations may require account-level measures while still preserving the privacy separation of personas from the public.

16. Policy Changes and Relationship to Terms

These Guidelines are intended to form part of the Velvet Room legal package when published and incorporated by the Terms of Service. Material changes should be versioned, dated, and presented consistently with the platform's legal-acceptance system.
